Yes you heard me right. It is okay for men to wear make up. There is a great debate about whether it is masculine or even necessary. I know some women might find their man wearing makeup not attractive. But if you have bad skin the results can be amazing! Trust me I know. I think makeup is a must. I wear makeup and I wish I did it a long time ago. My skin can be temperamental but with makeup I can have beautiful skin. It can cover your spots or breakouts. It can get rid of any redness. It brightens the skin. It can get rid of dark bags under the eyes. It can give you a whole new skin. There are even men’s makeup on the market that I found to help you in your quest to have blemish free skin.
My tip for men who want to use makeup. The best thing you can do is go for a undetectable look that other people won’t notice. That can be hard without practice. But it is achievable. You can even use women’s makeup like me to do it. I use primer, then foundation, add in some concealer and setting powder. The primer is the base to apply foundation and make it last longer. The foundation is your layer of makeup. The concealer is used to brighten under the eyes and parts of the nose, chin and face. Then the setting powder locks it all in. Or you can use setting spray. I love me some concealer.
There have been so many times when my skin has failed me and makeup has come to the rescue. It just gives you confidence. You need to find the right shade for your skin so you don’t look too dark or too light. I am still on the look out for my perfect shade. And I remember at the beginning I had no idea what I was doing or how to use makeup so don’t feel put off. I learned through trial and error. You can find tutorials on YouTube and online. I don’t think anybody will mind if you want to look your best. If you have flawless skin then you don’t need it. But if you don’t then this is for you. This brand MMUK have a great selection for you to choose from. You can also find it on ASOS.
