The new collection by H&M and ERDEM has arrived. The London based designer is beloved by celebrities and worn regularly on the red carpet. The collection is a floral fantasy. ERDEM really takes inspiration from nature with his floral print designs. It is elegant, pretty and feminine with a balance of tradition. We have seen other collaborations from H&M with Kenzo, Balmain and Versace. They have been audacious, cool, structured and fun. They are always successful and sell out quickly. Here it is the same thing. This collection stands out in its own way and is quite enchanting. ERDEM has spoken about how he likes his pieces to be timeless and how he takes his inspiration from the countryside. His floral designs are like an artwork they are quite detailed, beautiful and eye catching.
There are trousers, hoodies, slip on sneakers, shirts and more. I love the floral pieces. They are so lovely and I think I would feel like a millions dollars wearing them. What H&M does with these collections is amazing taking a high fashion label and pairing it with high street is genius. If you are not into the floral theme then don’t despair there are suits, jumpers and coats that are toned down with pattern and dark colours which are more refined. Perfect for A/W the collections has already sold out. As do all these collaborations with H&M. If you were hoping to get your hands on the men’s collection get in line. The collection starts at $35 and goes as high as $299. If you were lucky enough to get something then we are well jealous!
